The QewSERVER product is the embedded software application engine behind Morega’s content portability solution, leveraging 3rd party hardware based transcoding and transcrypting functionality. The QewSERVER can be provided as a stand-alone hardware customer premise device or embedded into any hardware device which utilizes a multimedia processor from one of Morega’s multimedia SoC partners.

The QewSERVER product dynamically converts various DRM or link-layer protection schemas (ie. conditional access, DTCP-IP) to formats compatible with target playback devices. The QewSERVER allows for content security keys to be monitored and updated whenever necessary. Morega’s embedded and system-level security architecture has been reviewed and approved by industry leading security experts.
